Black Cab Releases New Single ‘Uniforms’

If you’re a die-hard fan of Black Cab, you’ll be screaming at the top of your lungs because this phenomenal band has made a comeback with their brand new single Uniforms.

For those who don’t have the slightest idea about this band, Black Cab is a Melbourne based drone and electronica group. They’re influenced by 1970s psychedelic rock along with elements of Krautrock and electronica vibes. This will be the first new release of Black Cab since the band’s fourth album, Games of the XXI Olympiad back in 2014. Arguably, this album signifies their first move towards electronic in terms of genre.

To celebrate their comeback they’re going to carry out a launch show at Melbourne’s Howler Bar on Friday 6 May and at Newtown Social Club on Saturday 14 May. The song itself was first introduced on Double J with features guest Mikey Young (Total Control).

These launch shows will be Cab’s last show for at least 6 months as they complete their new album that will be released in early 2017.
