The final day at Popaganda was well underway. The jetlag has kicked it and I was surviving on only 6 hours of sleep. I make my way down to the festival and meet up with Lova. I’d been listening to her EP ‘Scripted Reality’ a bit in the recent months and looking forward to interviewing her. After finding a spot we sat down and chatted a bit about her music and the debut EP. It was great finally talking to an artist was truly loved what they’re are doing and believe in their music. It didn’t feel as if I had a fish for an answer but rather felt like I was having a chat with a mate. She’s without a doubt one of the most promising young acts to be coming out of Sweden.
I had the chance to also interview Parcel who were originally from Byron but had since moved to Berlin. The band had been making waves within the European crowd and were gearing up for their debut release.
Day 2 felt a bit calmer but the weather was great and the acts were great. Getting to see Tove Styrke live was probably one of my day 2 highlights.
