Scandinavian singer, songwriter and producer, Noonie Bao, has just released her music video for her latest track Reminds Me. The track follows on from her 2015 EP Noonia, which received international critical reception and three million streams online. The talented artist has an interesting success story, dropping out of school at 16, she began working as a cleaner in a recording studio in Paris and began secretly recording her demos at night. Since then, she has co-written a number of tracks for artists such as Charlie XCX and worked with amazing producers such as SOPHIE.

Reminds Me is a gorgeous slice of electronic pop, with atmospheric, ethereal production combined with airy, uplifting vocals from Noonie. She shared that the track is about ‘feeling pain rather than feeling nothing at all,’ but despite this more melancholic description, the track is quite upbeat and definitely something you can dance to. The track is accompanied by an abstract music video directed by Sebastian Mlynarski, who has also directed videos for the likes of Miike Snow and his hit, Animal. The video was shot in Death Valley, California and depicts the haunting memory of an old love through abstract colleges with the colourful Noonie Bao contrasted with the mountainous desert of Death Valley.
