We previously reviewed Relley C’s debut single “Unruly”, and now she has an awesome music video to accompany the track. It’s definitely stunning and one that really showcases her off as an artist – just like the song does.
The visual was directed by Olvr G whilst it was filmed and edited by ‘Eyekandyvisuals’ and co-shot by FF Creatives. The song itself is beautiful and was written by Relley C, Lei Jennings, and The 1990 Club.
The music video sees Relley C both as she is now and as a much younger version of herself – who is played by Portia.
The song is empowering, and Relley C really portrays this in the visual. Portia acts as the young Relley C, relying on other people, as all children do. Yet, as Relley C has become older, she’s learned to be independent and unruly.
The song has a much deeper meaning that we unravelled in our previous review. We love the gorgeous views seen in the video and the editing work is definitely engaging.
Relley C is on to her next project, and we’re so excited to hear more new music from her. She originally competed on The X Factor UK, twice. In series 10, she got as far as the Judges’ Houses before being sent home; however, she returned in series 13 and made it to the live shows, coming tenth overall.
