One of the rising stars of today is singer/songwriter/actress Hailee Steinfeld. She has literally got it all going for her, and “Most Girls” is another sublime track from this soon-to-be international star.
The song lyrics are incredibly clever, really proving that Hailee Steinfeld has what it takes to inspire women all around the world. She sings about wanting to be like most girls. It’s a positive, uplifting, praise for all girls and women out there. One they should be singing out of car windows, out loud on beaches, in the queue to see Hailee Steinfeld live, and in any place that you see fit.
Written by Tim Sommers, Jeremy Dussolliet, Asia Whiteacre, Ryan Tedder, Zach Skelton, and Hailee Steinfeld, and produced by Ryan Tedder, Zach Skelton, and Hailee Steinfeld; this track is definitely one that’ll rise in popularity as more promotion is released. It’s got a rhythmically groovy beat that isn’t heavily produced, but one we expect DJs will totally rewrite for some killer remixes.
A music video will surely drop in the near-future. She recently performed this song on the Radio Disney Music Awards, to great critical acclaim adding brilliant sparkles to the stage production of the song. She sung it as part of a medley with “Starving”. Yet, that’s not all, she also joined Sofia Carson, Kelsea Ballerini, and Jamie Lynn Spears for a Britney Spears’ medley in honour of the star receiving the Icon Award.
“Most Girls” is available to download and stream right now. We reckon a music video will follow, and hopefully some awesome remixes.
Expect to hear more of Hailee Steinfeld this year. She had an incredible 2016, which saw her soar in international charts around the world due to collaborations with DNCE, Zedd, and Grey. It also saw her take on the main character role in critical acclaimed coming-of-age film “The Edge of Seventeen”. This year will see her return to The Barden Bellas in “Pitch Perfect 3”, as well as a lot more music. So far, she has featured on Machine Gun Kelly’s “At My Best” and KATO & Sigala’s “Show You Love”. We can only hope than an album is on its way. If you don’t know who she is yet, you have clearly been living under a rock the past couple of years; Hailee Steinfeld is, most definitely, the next Jennifer Lopez, managing to establish a career both in music and acting. Watch out, because she’s a triple threat, one we all love.
