First ever Falls Festival and I was not disappointed.

Having never attending a Falls Festival before I wasn’t too sure what to expect. Fremantle set up the festival a bit different, in that there’s no camp and the festival is spread out over 2 days. Despite the insanely hot temperatures, there was plenty of cooling off areas around the site to ensure punters where staying safe under the heat.

Stages were too far apart meaning your didn’t have to trek for 15mins to see an act. The lineup overall was diverse both genre and gender wise. This is something most festivals still haven’t locked down. Some notable highlights included Mahalia, Anderson .Paak, First Aid Kit, Hatchie, The Vaccines and Soccer Mommy. We can’t forget Toto, in which everyone belted ‘Africa’.

Thanks Falls for a memorable first year!
