KStewart & Yungen Team Up For Single “Hands”

Here is another great song from KStewart, one we’ve total been enjoying here at Outlet Magazine. “Hands” may seem like it has simple lyrics that are easy for us to sing-along to, but KStewart impresses effortlessly with her voice.

Her quirky vocals fit perfectly with this sound, and effortlessly portray every emotion needed for this song. During the first minute or so, she sings as if she doesn’t care about the song, as if this isn’t what she wants to do, but as the song progresses, you realise that that’s just how her voice comes across and it’s not until you start to really listen to the song that you realise how incredible she actually is.

“Hands” isn’t just your average song; yeah, children may sing along to the simple lyrics in the car or in their own home, but that’s because of the way KStewart has sung this song; listening deeper as an adult, you really connect with her emotions and the words that are sung.

This song is one for all the family, one that you all can sing-along to together, and meaning and clarity around the song can be discussed at a much later time. This reminds us of the time Britney Spears dropped “If You Seek Amy” or “3”, or what even Christina Aguilera’s “Genie In A Bottle”.

Yungen adds a rap that is very much needed to break up KStewarts voice, however it doesn’t exactly feel original referencing to other songs and artists. Regardless, it does fit with the song and shows his potential.

“Hands” is available to download and stream now. KStewart released a lyric video on the day of the release of the single.

KStewart, real name Kate Stewart, made a name for herself when she provided vocals for Oliver Heldens’ track “Last All Night (Koala)”. The song became a global hit, his second after his collaboration with Becky Hill on “Gecko (Overdrive)”. She later released a song of her own, titled “Ain’t Nobody”, which managed to chart on the UK Singles Chart at number 86; her other singles haven’t become hits.

Yungen is a rapper from South London who is getting his name out there. He has worked with many known artists including Labrinth, WSTRN, Angel, M.O, and Sneakbo. He’s definitely rising from the underground scene, be prepared to see his name pop up a few more places.
